I have no regret studying in SAM program in Taylor's college. Before I enrolled into this college, many of them said that this college is for those student who do not want to study but they are rich. However, when I first came in this college, I can see there is good study environment for student and high technology facilities provided for student. This make me feel like wanna to study at here. I can say that that is a rumor. Everyone here are hardworking and have excellent result and attitude.
I met up many new buddies and i got many knowledge from my lecturers, Ms Adeline Poh, Mr. lee, Ms Tanna, Mrs Goh and Ms Sia. They are dedicated and they try their best to make the class more fun and interesting. When i faced problem, they are willing to stay back to teach me. Throughout this year, I have learned many new things. I try public speaking, presentations, online assignment, meet the deadline of assignment, group work, writing report, doing experiment and so on. These are all i never had before in my secondary school life. Besides that, these all will help me to prepare for the university life.
I am an outstation student and come to a new, strange place. I would feel homesick sometimes. However, my housemate, Ong Hwee Ting, she is also taking SAM program in Taylor's college. She has accompanied me for one year time and cheer me up the most time.
I spent all my time with housemates and classmates. I appreciate the precious one year time i had in Taylor's college Subang Jaya. I will recommend this college to my friends, cousin and siblings but not SAM programme because that is too stress as most of the time we are rushing to meet the deadline of assignment.
In conclusion, after one year, i have more clear mind that what i want to be and I found my mistake and weakness. I have prepared to overcome the weakness so that i will be success in future. A good college will provide a platform for us to find another university that we want.

Future Career ~
When I am young, i have many ambitions. I want to be doctor, teacher, fire fighter, air stewardess and so on. However, time passes and now i have make my mind that i would like to be an aircraft engineer. To be a engineer, i have chosen physics subject as the main subject in my SAM study so that i can meet the basic requirement of any university.

The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association and SAE Institute provide a number of certifications for aircraft mechanics.
Aviation maintenance specialist (AMS) – This certification enables non-FAA certificated technicians and interested non-maintenance aviation personnel to show proficiency in a critical body of knowledge regarding aviation maintenance.
Aviation maintenance engineer (AME) – This certification validates core knowledge for FAA certificated Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics.
The AMT Society presents the Maintenance Skills Competition annually, which recognizes top AMT teams across all aviation including commercial and military.

Reflective Essay
Reflection on my own experience ~
Activity
that I have participated in my college life in Taylor’s college subang jaya
Description
I am a science stream
student. In one year time I studied in Taylor’s college, I had only
participated in a few activities. The activity that makes me learn many things
and have the most recall was the trip to Taylor’s university Lakeside.
It is a field trip to
visit the campus and have more ideas about the future path way. It is a
Saturday morning, my friend, Phang wen qi and I joined this trip and around
9.00am we reached the campus by bus. All the buildings are modern and
spectacular. It is an eye catching scenery with a lake between the sky high
buildings.
Firstly, we had a tour
round the university campus and a student council was introducing the place. Then,
we attended a talk about the future career. Then we went to a chemistry lab and
had some fun activities. We are divided into few groups and took turn to see
the chemistry experiments such as gas chromatography, atomic absorption
spectroscopy and so on. These all were carried by the lab assistants using all
the high technology equipments with high precision and accuracy.
Then, we went to
another chemistry lab to have some hand on works. We were divided into few
groups and my group members were Tan kah look, Amber, Justin, Phang wen qi. We
did the titration experiment and I had learned many things in this experiment
such as team works, and be humble. After
that, we had our lunch in the cafeteria and then the trip ended at around 1 pm.
From this trip, I have
learned some lessons such as interpersonal skills, life long learning, thinking
and problem solving skills. This makes me feels that my college is interesting
and full of fun. From the trip, we can do some hands on work and think
something out of the box.
From this trip, I found
that we need team work, interpersonal skill, thinking and problem solving
skills. This is because during the experiment, we need to help each other to
complete the experiment in the limited time. That is the first time I meet the
group member and we are new to each other. Therefore, we must have interpersonal
skill so that we can have same idea in carrying out the experiment. We have to
discuss about the steps of the experiment carried out and have well planned
schedule to make sure that there is no mistake in the experiment.
Evaluation
Before
that, I have the idea that it is just a trip to visit a university; I do not
think that there are so many things I could learn in this trip. It is an eye opening
experience and from the talk given by the lecturer in the university, I make me
to think about my future and what should I do so that I will not waste my
pleasure time and choose the right pathway for my own self. Besides that, I
have that learning is a lifelong activity. We should enrich ourselves with the
knowledge and become a person that has contribution to the social and world. Besides
that, from the experiment carried out during the trip, I have learned something
that could be applied during chemistry class and assignment. This helps me to
achieve a greater grade of ATAR.
Plan
I hope
that college admin will organize more this kind of activity for their students
so that they can have widened their views and have more deep thinking.
My Inspiration
It means that we should not give up easily when we face the obstacles and challenge. When we succeed to do a task, all the impossible and doubt will disappear. Future is a way that we cannot see the ending therefore we should go through it with the mentality that we can do it. Nothing is impossible.
There is no free lunch in this world. we need to open up our own pathway to success by ourselves. For example, we need to find our santa claus to get the gift.
Human is born to be brave. No pain no gain. We should take risks so that our current life will change to better. Even though we lose in the game but we learn a lesson so that next time will not do the same mistake.

Buddies Learning Style :)
I am a visual learner while one of my buddies, Fara from se2 is a visual learner too. She needs to say out the word loudly when she is studying and she will sing song when she is studying. Besides that, another buddy is Hui Kay. She is from sp3 . She is visual learner too. She read the note and memorize it in one time and she will highlight the important points when different colorful color. Another buddy is Wan Ling from sp2. she has her own style of studying. She will read through the note for the first time, then she will underline and highlight the important points. After that, she will memorize the fact and repeat the sentences a few times. In conclusion, most of my buddies are visual learner and only one is kinesthetic and auditory. She is Effie from sp1. Most of the visual learner, Ee vonn and wan ling from sp2, Wen Qian and Hui Kay from sp3, including me will highlight the note, make their own hand note and read many times until they can memorize the note.
